Really Good Stuff
Powtoon allows you and your students to easily create animated presentations in the cloud.
Prezi allows you to make Zooming presentations. It's very much like combining PowerPoint with Google Earth.
Thinglink allows you to put hot spots into your images. Think about it like adding the place markers in Google maps to an image.
Tackk is a free, easy-to-use single page website builder. Users can add text, pictures and videos via the simple interface. Teachers have given very positive feedback about Tackk.
Smore is an easy-to use service for creating flyers. Users can create up to five flyers for free with a new account. The flyers are template based and visually appealing.
Emaze allows users to easily create visually appealing, template-based presentations. Presentations done on Emaze really stand out.
Google presentation allows users to create cloud-based presentations similar to what one would create with PowerPoint. Added features are the ability to collaborate in real-time with team mates and/or the teacher, the ability to leave comments for others while working on the presentation, and a file revision history that lets the owner of the presentation see who worked on which slides and when. There's some planning and set up involved with getting going with Google Presentation but this is a tremendously powerful tool. You must be signed in to your Google account to access Presentation.
Meograph allows users to easily create narrated presentations that include text, pictures, and/or videos. If you'd like to incorporate narration in a project, Meograph is worth checking out.
